The Minister of foreign Affairs of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier suggested the possibility of supplying to the inhabitants of the Syrian city of Aleppo, where fighting, humanitarian aid from the air. This writes Die Welt.
“If you continue, it will be impossible to supply humanitarian aid to both parts of Aleppo in sufficient quantity, we should consider the option of shipping by air, primarily of medicines”, — said the head of the German foreign Ministry. He said that the participants of the contact group on Syria has already agreed to consider this possibility.
Earlier, the UN called for an end to the fighting in Aleppo for 48 hours to bring in food and medicine.
