Ukraine will not give Parnassus a permit to campaign in the Crimea


Director of the political Department of the Ukrainian foreign Ministry Oleksiy Makeyev said that candidates from PARNASSUS will not be granted permission to canvass in the Crimea due to the fact that the Agency can’t permit the election of deputies of the Peninsula that is the territory of Ukraine”. About it reported the Internet-the edition “Crimea.Realities”.

“Based on the fact that it is an occupied territory, of course, that no permit for the implementation of campaign on the territory of the occupied Crimea, Ukraine can not give”, — said Makeev.

According to him, the election in Crimea, deputies of another state cannot be allowed, as the Crimea is the territory of Ukraine.

August 15 candidates PARNAS Alexei Korolev, Alexander Safronov and Marina Kapitsa asked the Consulate General of Ukraine for transit visas to Crimea for campaign travel. The representative of the party Konstantin Merzlikin said request for the permission of Kiev to the fact that PARNASSUS believes that “Crimea was illegally annexed”. He also reported that opposition candidates will take into account the interests of all”.
