Putin will hold a security Council meeting in Crimea


Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday arrived on a working trip to the Crimea, where he will hold meeting with members of the security Council and will attend the all-Russian youth forum “Tavrida”, reports TASS.

That the President’s trip to the Crimea will take place at the end of the week, August 16, the sources said. They told me that during a visit to the Peninsula, the President may communicate with local officials and visit the youth camp “Tauris”.

Putin traditionally visits the Crimea in August. In 2014, he addressed members of the Federal Assembly and spoke with the artists, and last year, he was immersed in a submersible to the bottom of the Black sea off the coast of the Peninsula.

Last time with the members of the Russian security Council, Putin spoke on August 11. At the meeting discussed the additional security of citizens and infrastructure in Crimea on the Peninsula prevented the attacks. After that, Putin accused Kiev authorities in the “transition to terror”, but the Ukrainian authorities denied all accusations.
