In less than three weeks before the vote in the Duma elections the rating of “United Russia” significantly decreased, “Vedomosti” reports with reference to the data of the survey “Levada-center”.
In August, the proportion of Russians willing to vote for the ruling party in the Duma elections dropped from 39 to 31% of all respondents, among those who decided to go to the polls and have already decided for whom to vote, the share of supporters of “United Russia” fell from 57 to 50%. The survey involved 1,600 people in 48 regions, it was held from 26 to 29 August 2016 by personal in-home interviews, the statistical error does not exceed 3.4%.
Fell below 50% rating of Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, who tops the list of United Russia. If in July his work was approved by 55% of respondents in late August, stated that only 48% of respondents. The rating of President Vladimir Putin remained unchanged at 82%.
