The Turkish Prime Minister expressed his condolences in connection with the death of Karimov

The Prime Minister of Turkey Benali Yildirim said about the death of Uzbekistan’s President Islam Karimov and expressed in this context condolences during a meeting with the Cabinet that was broadcast on television, reports Reuters. “I wish him mercy from Allah. The Republic of Turkey shares the sorrow of the Uzbek people”, — he said (quoted by Hurriyet).

Earlier Friday, Reuters, citing three diplomatic source said that the President of Uzbekistan has died. According to one of interlocutors of Agency, on the death of Karimov will be announced on Friday.
