“Novaya Gazeta” has announced the resignation of the head of EMERCOM of Russia

The head EMERCOM of Russia Vladimir Puchkov at the same time to resign, according to “Novaya Gazeta” with reference to unnamed sources.

According to interlocutors of the edition, among the reasons for such personnel decisions — a systematic understatement of the area of forest fires, the death of the rescue team at the mine “North” in the Komi Republic, the crash of Il-76 taking off on a fire near Irkutsk, and also the death of the head of EMERCOM in the Primorsky territory during the recent floods.

On 29 August, Primorsky Krai the Typhoon hit, which came from the Japanese sea. Due to heavy rains in 13 districts rescuers have introduced a state of emergency. In some localities there was a collapse of soil, some of the roads were flooded. MOE began to evacuate residents of several districts of Primorye.

2 September it became known that during the rescue operation in Primorye killed the head of the regional Department of EMERCOM Oleg Fedor. In connection with his gibelio Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under part 1 of article 109 of the criminal code (causing death by negligence).

Il-76 of EMERCOM of Russia was lost during a forest fires in the Irkutsk region on 1 July. At the specified time, the aircraft has not been in touch, and two days later its wreckage was found on the slope of a hill. All ten people aboard were killed. The press service of EMERCOM of Russia on the results of the interim report of the Interstate aviation Committee said that the cause of the crash of Il-76 steel external factors.

The accident at the Pivnichna mine was on the 25th of February. In a series of explosions killed 36 people, including five lifeguards.
