During bilateral talks at the G20 summit, the presidents of Russia and Turkey Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed the implementation of the project “Turkish stream,” the expansion of Russian oil exports along the lines of “Rosneft”, as well as the project NPP “Akkuyu,” said the press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov.
Spoke on “Turkish stream”. The fact that many permission, many approvals were given to the route of the “South stream”. Now actually changing only the name, hence the need for re-issuance of the permits, which will significantly speed up the point. In addition, the presidents spoke out for the possibility of further expansion of Russian oil exports, there is along the lines of “Rosneft”, said the spokesman. “Separately spoke of “Rosatom”. As you know, the Turks fairly quickly made the necessary legislative changes that will allow to intensify the work on the station “Akkuyu”, — said Peskov.
The two leaders also talked about the situation in Syria and exchanged views on other issues of bilateral relations.
The talks were held as one by one, with the participation of foreign Ministers, the delegations of both countries. In the extended format were discussed, in particular, the timetable for the resumption of all organizational forms of cooperation between the two countries.
