The Prime Minister resigned


Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan announced the resignation of the Prime Minister of the country, which he has held since April 2014.

According to ArmInfo, after the resignation of the head of the government Hovik Abrahamyan may head the campaign headquarters of the Republican party, which will prepare for the parliamentary elections of 2017.

The new head of government, according to the same sources, President Serzh Sargsyan may appoint a former mayor of Yerevan Karen Karapetyan.
