The former head of Deutsche Bank in Russia has created a financial boutique


Former chief Executive officer, Deutsche Bank’s Pavel Teplukhin, together with the former colleagues on group “the three Dialogue” has created a financial boutique, said the Agency Bloomberg with reference to informed sources.

According to one of interlocutors of Agency, the former head of the Russian subsidiary of Deutsche Bank AG has created a company together with five partners, including Timur Nasardinov, Kirill Gromov, Ivan Ivanchenko. The company will offer services in asset management, focusing on Russia and other emerging markets, he said. Two other sources said that the company was called Matrix Advisors.

The representative Teplukhin confirmed to Bloomberg that the former head of the Russian representative office of Deutsche Bank sets up a company with partners. He said that officially it will be announced next week, and refused to comment further. Pavel Teplukhin on Friday refused to comment on the report on the establishment of a financial boutique.

Pavel Teplukhin is one of the founders of the company “Troika Dialog”. From 1996 to 2010 he headed the criminal code “Troika Dialog”, first as President and then Chairman of the Board of Directors. From October 2012 to August 2016, he worked at Deutsche Bank. After his departure as chief Executive officer of Deutsche Bank moved to Annette Fiveg, who works in a Bank for more than 15 years, and in November 2015, has headed its Board.

Earlier, a source familiar with Teplukhina, told me that after leaving Deutsche Bank the banker will go to Cyprus and together with the former colleagues from “Three Dialogue” will create there company asset management, the strategy which will invest in Russia, CIS and emerging markets.
