The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko wrote in his Twitter that the Board of Directors of the International monetary Fund (IMF) took a positive decision on the continuation of the program of cooperation with Ukraine and the allocation of financial assistance”. “It is the decision of the IMF suggests that the world recognizes that Ukraine is undergoing reforms, qualitative changes, the country is movement in the right direction,” he said.

The IMF decision paves the way for the allocation of Ukraine financial assistance in the amount of $1 billion from the US and €600 million from the European Union, quoted Poroshenko, the press service of the President of Ukraine.
