Medvedev suggested Burmatova for the post of head of the Executive Committee of “United Russia”


The head of government and Chairman of “United Russia” Dmitry Medvedev has proposed the appointment of a Duma Deputy Vladimir Burmatov for the position of head of the Central Executive Committee (CEC) of the party. About TASS reported the press service of the party.

In the “United Russia” said that the question of appointment of Burmatova will consider at the meeting of the Presidium of the General Council of the party, which will take place on September 22. The press service added that the current head of the CEC Maxim Rudnev should occupy the position of Deputy head of the Executive Committee for project work.

Burmatov in December 2011 was elected Deputy of the state Duma of the sixth convocation. In the lower house, he served as first Deputy head of the Committee on education. The MP has repeatedly criticized the Ministry of education and science Dmitry Livanov, who then headed the Agency.
