CEC announced final results of elections to the state Duma

The Russian Central election Commission summed up the results of the past September 18 elections to the state Duma. The final results announced on the night on Friday at the CEC session the Chairman of the Commission Nikolay Bulaev, reports TASS.

According to him, the state Duma of the seventh convocation on the list are four parties: “United Russia”, KPRF, LDPR and “Fair Russia”. “United Russia” following the results of elections received 343 of the mandate of the Communist party – 42, LDPR – 39, “Fair Russia” – 23. United Russia received in the Duma of the seventh convocation of a constitutional majority.

Baluyev said that on the list of “United Russia” has received 140 of mandates in single-mandate constituencies — 203, the Communist party — 35 and 7, respectively, mandates, LDPR – 34 and 5, “Fair Russia” — 16 and 7.

In addition to these four parties in the Duma passed two single-seat districts (the Chairman of the party “Rodina” Alexey Zhuravlev, head of the Federal political Committee “Civic platform” Rifat Shaikhutdinov), and one self-nominee Vladislav Reznik, part of the sixth convocation of the faction of United Russia. They all won elections to the state Duma of the seventh convocation in single-member districts.

The turnout in the elections of deputies of the state Duma of the seventh convocation was 47,88%. According to bulaeva, the election was attended by 52 million 700 thousand 922 voters.

Earlier in the meeting, the head of the CEC, Ella Pamfilova, summing up the campaign, said that the transparency and openness of elections to the state Duma was provided. However, full confidence in the institution of elections could not be secured, she acknowledged. The head of the CEC has promised to spend “a lot of work on the bugs that the next company to reach a new level.”
