The investigative Committee of Russia (TFR) closed the criminal prosecution of the owner of the Domodedovo airport Dmitry Mason and three top managers- Vyacheslav Nekrasov, Svetlana Trichinae and Andrew Daniel. About it reports “Interfax”.
A criminal case was opened in April 2015. The management and the owner of Domodedovo was charged with the execution of works or services that do not meet the requirements of safety, entailed on imprudence death of two or more persons (article 238 of the Russian criminal code).
The consequence believed that in 2010, the defendants changed the system of airport security that allowed the suicide bomber to enter the building and detonate a bomb in January 2011.
In July, the TFR extended the investigation period in this case. The decision of the investigators have received, despite the request of the Deputy Prosecutor General Vladimir Malinovsky to stop the prosecution of Mason and other defendants in the case.
