The Bank of Russia has withdrawn from September 26, the license for banking operations of the Moscow Military-industrial Bank (VPB) is included in the top 100 Russian banks in terms of assets. This was reported on the website of the regulator.
16 September, the Central Bank introduced the Military-industrial Bank temporary administration. A few days earlier the General Prosecutor’s office began checking the VPB, the purpose of which the Agency called the control over observance of legislation in the field of consumer protection.
A week before entering in the VPB of the provisional administration of the Central Bank has cut the Bank electronic payment system (BESP), but credit the organization has addressed in Arbitration court of Moscow with the claim against the regulator and the requirement to recognize his actions illegal.
VPB previously suspended the issuance of deposits to customers: restrictions were imposed on cash withdrawals from deposits and Bank cards. In addition, the Bank stopped taking new money.
Also on 26 September, the Central Bank withdrew the license at capital Centrobanca for high-risk financial policy. The Bank introduced a temporary administration, the powers of the Executive bodies of the credit institution are suspended.
On 19 September, the Central Bank revoked the licenses of two included in the top 100 Russian banks: the Bank and Finprombank. The regulator noted that with a poor quality of assets the management of the Bank inadequately assessed in connection with these risks. Cause of revocation of license of Finprombank the failure to satisfy the claims of creditors on monetary obligations, noted in the message of the Central Bank.
