The state security service of Georgia (GBS) has opened a criminal case under article “plotting to forcibly change the constitutional order, overthrow or seizure of state power” after appearing in the media of an audio recording of the alleged conversation ex-President Mikheil Saakashvili with the leaders of his party “United national movement” (UNM). The Ministry said that intelligence officers have to establish the authenticity of the recordings. This will be questioned by all the participants, allegedly identified on the recordings.

The audio recording in question, was accompanied by a collage of photos of Saakashvili and the UNM leaders. It was played on the TV channel “Imedi” on Tuesday, said the Agency “news-Georgia”. The source of occurrence records was not stated, were noted that the audio recording appeared on the Internet.
