Scandal in a Moscow school number 57 because of the complaints of students on harassment by teachers Boris Meyerson ended the criminal case, reports “Moskovsky Komsomolets” (MK). September 1, the official representative of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR) Vladimir Markin has announced the start of the preliminary investigation on the facts stated in the reports of the teachers and students of the school in social networks. A source close to the investigation confirmed that the case was really filed.

According to MK, the case was initiated under part 4 of article 135 of the Criminal code (CC) of the Russian Federation (“Dissolute actions committed by a group of persons upon a preliminary collusion or by an organized group”; assumes up to 15 years of imprisonment).

Suspects in the case, as pointed out by MK, is a former teacher of the history of Boris Meyerson and former pupils of the school Maria nemser (she graduated from high school in 2008). According to investigators, March 25, 2010 entered into a preliminary agreement, the suspects made dissolute actions in relation to one of the school’s students (last available edition). The investigation will conduct the Main investigation Department (GSU) of the TFR in Moscow, the newspaper notes.

August 29 this year, the journalist of “Medusa” Ekaterina Krongauz on the page in Facebook published a post stating that the history teacher of one of Moscow schools is having an affair with Schoolgirls”. According to Krongauz, this “everyone knew” for more than 16 years.

The journalist did not specify the name of the teacher and the school, but from many user reviews for the publication, it became clear that we are talking about the school № 57. After that, Facebook began to receive the revelation of pupils and teachers about harassment Meyerson.

Because of the scandal the school has fired its Director, Sergei Mendelevich, during an extraordinary meeting was appointed the new Director of Alexander of Tver, former Director of the Lyceum № 1581. His Deputy was the former rector of the Russian economic school Andrew bramsen.

At the end of the 2015/2016 school year, the Moscow Department of education has recognized the educational Center № 57 “the Fifty seventh school” the fourth in the ranking of the best Moscow schools.
