In the statement, which was circulated by the American Consulate in Adana, U.S. citizens are advised to exercise caution when they stay in hotels that belong to American companies, reports Reuters.
The U.S. Consulate did not specify which hotels are involved. Reuters indicates that Adana has hotels of companies, Sheraton and Hilton.
