The Supreme court recognized the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar extremist organization

As reported by “RIA Novosti”, the members of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people appealed to the Supreme court of Russia on the decision of the Supreme court of the Crimea. By results of appeal consideration by the Supreme judicial court upheld the decision on the recognition of the “Majlis” extremist organization and banning its activities in Russia.

The initial decision of the Supreme court of Crimea adopted on April 26, having satisfied the claim of Prosecutor of the Republic of Natalia Polonskaya. She pointed out that the organization is built on the struggle with Russia, and the leaders of “Majlis” are “puppets in the hands of great Western puppeteers”.

Poklonski also pointed out that “if the members of the Majlis or his representatives will carry out any activity contrary to the decision of the court, they will be held accountable”.
