The Ministry of Finance proposed to raise excise taxes on tobacco by 10% a year for three years

The Ministry of Finance of Russia intends to raise the excise tax on tobacco products by 10% annually in the next three years, and expects during this period to collect budget 243 billion rubles. it is reported by TASS with reference to the presentation of the Ministry of Finance to the speech of the head of the Ministry Anton Siluanov at the seminar for the deputies of the state Duma.

Included in the presentation of the data follows that in 2017 due to the increase in excise duties on tobacco are planned to raise 35 billion rubles, in 2018 – 82% in 2019 – 126 billion rubles.

In addition, the Ministry plans to increase excise taxes on oil products in 2017 – 50 billion rubles, in 2018 – 75 billion rubles in 2019 – 90 billion rubles at the expense of an additional increase of excise tax on gasoline, the Agency is expected to collect in the budget in 2017, 43 billion rubles, in 2018 — 48 billion rubles in 2019 — 50 billion rubles.

All, as follows from the document, the Ministry of Finance predicts the revenue budget in 2017 – in the amount of 13 trillion rubles, in 2018 – to 13.7 trillion in 2019 — 14,7 trln RUB budget Expenditures for a three-year period are planned at 15.7 trillion rubles annually.
