Moscow has responded to Washington’s decision to cease contact on Syria

The official representative of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, commenting on Washington’s decision to cease cooperation with Moscow on Syria, said on air of “First channel” that the United States failed to fulfill its key agreements and are now trying to shift responsibility to others.

“It turns out that Washington simply has not fulfilled a key condition of the agreement to ease the humanitarian situation of the inhabitants of Aleppo, and now, apparently, unable to carry out the agreement which they made trying to pass on to someone else responsibility,” Zakharova said (quoted by TASS). In her words, the inaction of Washington has led to the fact that during this period, the militants regrouped, got a gun, and held the mobilization of its resources.”

Russia has recently made efforts aimed at the implementation of the agreements concluded between Moscow and Washington on 9 September, said Zakharov. However, in her words, “it came down to a simple question — what is “Dzhebhat EN-Nusra” (banned in Russia as a terrorist group its present name — “Jabhat Fatah al-sham”), who is behind it and why did Washington may not fulfill the promise, namely, to divide terrorists and so-called moderate opposition”.
