The children’s Ombudsman Anna Kuznetsova began checking children’s fights in Grozny

Ombudsman for children in Russia Anna Kuznetsova has addressed a request to the children’s Ombudsman in Chechnya, about children’s fights on the mixed single combats in Grozny. This very Kuznetsov said “the Medusa”.

“Perhaps fighting and revealing, but the blows of the children attacked each other real, they do not have the necessary means of protection. It is important to thoroughly investigate the incident and find out how the carrying out of such fighting is a systemic phenomenon and how it affects the health of children,” said children’s Ombudsman.

Tournament Grand Prix Akhmat 2016 was held in Grozny on 4 October. In it, in particular, took part in three son of the head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov: 10-year-old Ahmad, a 9-year-old Zelimkhan and 8-year-old Adam.

Participation of young children in the tournament have drawn criticism from the President of the Union of the mixed single combats (MMA) of Russia Fedor Emelyanenko and the head of the International Association of the mixed single combats (WMMAA) Vadim Finkelstein. The sports Ministry has promised to conduct an audit for this reason.

Emelianov in his post on Instagram, pointed to the fact that the duel took place according to the rules that exist for adult athletes are professionals, not children. “Children under 12 years are not permitted to act by rules MMA”, he said. Later his statement was criticized also in Instagram, the organizer of the match, Abuzaid Vismuradov.

“Who is he to assess our tournament and fight?” — it asked a question. Vismuradov also stressed that the confrontation wore a revealing nature.

The same opinion was expressed by the representative of the head of the Chechen Republic in Europe Timur Dugashev. In an interview with TASS he said that the kids fighting in Grozny was not violent.

“None of what cruelty there was no question, the children showed themselves to be real men and warriors, as befits their fights there was no blood or serious injuries. We do not educate them in the negative, and only want them to show a positive example to others. With regard to the rules of the duels, it was built entirely under the demonstration of performance,” he said.

However, the press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov said that the Supervisory authority should be interested in the conduct of the battle, the party which was sent to the knockout.

“If it was on TV and this is true, probably, of course, nokautiroval child, and even on television, this is the reason to the relevant Supervisory authorities interested in this event,” he told journalists (quoted by “Interfax”).
