Vietnam has ruled out the emergence of foreign military bases on its territory

The Minister of foreign Affairs of Vietnam Le Hai Binh said that the country will not allow foreign States to place military bases on its territory. He said this at a press briefing in Hanoi, reports Reuters.

According to the Minister, the policy of Vietnam is that Hanoi intends to unite with anyone against the third party. “We will not allow any countries to build military bases in Vietnam,” the diplomat said.

The Deputy head of the Russian defense Ministry Nikolai Pankov last week said that the Agency consider the possibility of the return of military bases in Cuba and Vietnam. “We engaged in this work. We see this problem”, — said Pankow in response to a question.
