Poroshenko introduced a special personal sanctions against Russia


President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko signed a decree enacted the decision of national security Council and defence of Ukraine (NSDC) adopted on 16 September 2016. The decree published on the website Poroshenko.

We are talking about the use of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions) in respect of citizens of the Russian physical and legal persons from Russia. The sanctions imposed against them in September 2015, will be extended. Sanctions were introduced last year for a period of one year. Then it hit 388 people, and 105 companies.

August 12 this year, the government of Ukraine approved an updated sanctions list that have not been published. It is intended for official use. Further endorsed by the Cabinet of Ministers the list went out for approval to the Council.
