Message Japanese media about Japan’s plan to offer Russia joint control of the South Kuril Islands are “information injections”. This was stated to journalists the press-Secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov, reports “RIA Novosti”.
“You are right it is described as “information injections”. If you noticed in the morning out on the publication “injection”, and by the end of the day, the official Tokyo denies. So there is nothing to comment,” — said Peskov.
Earlier, Japanese newspaper Nikkei, citing sources сообщилf that the Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe hopes to persuade Vladimir Putin to send a joint administration over the four South Kuril Islands.
However, later this information was refuted by the official representative of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Japan Yasuhisa Kawamura.
