Kadyrov spoke out against cutting the budget of the Chechen Republic


The head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov spoke out against the proposals of the Ministry of Finance to cut the budget of the Republic. About this the Chechen leader wrote in his Instаgram, summing up the meeting, where the leadership of the Republic discussed issues of formation of the Chechen budget by 2017.

In particular, Kadyrov wrote that during the meeting, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Edelgeriev Abubakar briefed on the work on the harmonization of the draft budget of the Chechen Ministry of Finance.

“There are many questions. We cannot be satisfied with the proposed Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation the draft of the budget”, — Kadyrov wrote. He noted that “in previous years, given the economic situation in the country”, the Chechen authorities agreed to the proposals of the Ministry of Finance. At the time, abolished the Federal target program (FTP) “Restoration of economy and social sphere of the Chechen Republic (2002 and subsequent years)”, he recalled.

Now Kadyrov offers to restore it. “I have ordered the Abubakar Edelgeriev [the Prime Minister] to do more in detail budget and Federal targeted program at the Federal level”, – said the head of Chechnya.

“If and further will continue the budget cuts, the Republic will not be able to develop, we will not be able to fulfill their social obligations”, – said Kadyrov.
