US military intervention in the Affairs of other States can improve the situation, but there are cases when it leads to more problems. This opinion was expressed by President Barack Obama in an interview with TV channel HBO.
According to him, around the world happen bad event and a “natural instinct” is to intervene in what is happening.
“Sometimes, when our intervention makes a difference, but there are many instances where unforeseen consequences can lead to more problems. And to determine what can lead to certain actions, I think, is one of the biggest problems facing any President,” said Barack Obama.
He added that when it comes to protecting Americans against “al-Qaeda” or “Islamic state” (both organizations are recognized as terrorist and banned in Russia), the military aid necessary. Obama stressed that the United States needs allies to maintain world order.
