Medvedev said “serious event” Ulyukayev charges of bribery

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, speaking Tuesday at a visiting session of the faction “United Russia” in the Expocentre, commented in his speech about the case of Alexei Ulyukayev.

“This is a major event for the government, for the government. What happened is beyond my understanding. We discussed it yesterday with the President, he has the same opinion”, — said Medvedev.

According to him, law enforcement needs to thoroughly investigate the incident. “Of these stories should be a single indisputable conclusion, it is very important for our country that none of the authorities – neither the Governor nor the Minister does not have immunity in criminal offences. In other words — all can be held accountable. Of course, if their fault established by the court sentence”, — said the Prime Minister.
