The main contenders for the post of the head of the US state Department in the future administration of President-elect are Donald trump, former new York mayor Rudolph Giuliani and former permanent US representative to the UN John Bolton. About it writes The Wall Street Journal, citing sources.
According to interlocutors of publication, the counselors of trump as a priority consider these two candidates, the final decision on the transition team can adopt in the near future.
The publication says that Giuliani is a longtime friend of trump and his closest aide, and Bolton, a diplomat who in 2015, “he urged the U.S. to drop the bomb on Iran.”
