The source reminded that the swift development Ulyukayev began a year before his arrest. According to him, this fact gives more reason for concern. “We are all now under scrutiny,” said the source to Reuters.
Some officials believe that even in case of withdrawal from the civil service immunity from arrest will not. “You can’t run away,” said another source.
The anxiety that prevails in the ranks of government officials, partly due to the fact that the detention of the speaker occurred in the office of “Rosneft”, Reuters reports. Thus, according to the interlocutors, were “sent a signal that the prosecution [the speaker] was assisted by [the head of the company Igor] Sechin”.
Earlier, Russia’s Investigative Committee stated that the delay was Ulyukayev was possible “thanks to the timely appeal of representatives of “Rosneft” in law enforcement bodies with the statement for illegal actions of the Minister”. According to investigators, the ex-Minister had solicited a bribe for issuing a positive opinion on the company’s acquisition of 50.08% of shares of “Bashneft” in the state.
The Agency sources in law enforcement and the government said that investigators for several months working with the head of the security service of the oil company Oleg Feoktistov, who served as the first Deputy chief of management of own safety of FSB. The representative of “Rosneft” asked to comment on the information on the role of the company, the Sechin or Feoktistova in the speaker did not answer. To comments Sechin and Feoktistova, the Agency failed.

In this regard, a number of other government sources believe that Sechin “continues vendetta against close to Medvedev people,” writes Reuters.
“This is a message to other Ministers: “If you continue to argue you will find yourself in the same place [as the speaker],” said one of the interlocutors of the Agency.
