The stolen gates of the Dachau concentration camp found in Norway


Abducted two years ago, the historical gates of the Dachau concentration camp with the inscription Arbeit macht frei (“Labor liberates”) allegedly discovered in Norway. About it reports the German publication Die Welt with reference to the Bavarian police.

It is reported that the gate was discovered in the Norwegian city of Bergen. As reported in local police, the gate was discovered after an anonymous message. The German police suggest that the finding with high probability genuine.

The historical gates of the Dachau concentration camp says “Arbeit macht frei” was stolen in November 2014. The theft was discovered by the guards. Since then, no signs of abduction was found.
