The Central electoral Commission of Russia will check on the material of “the New newspaper” on elections in the state Duma and Moscow region Duma in the Moscow suburb of Mytishchi, said the CEC head, Ella Pamfilova, noting that in the case of confirmation of information on violations of elections in the city may be cancelled.
“If they [the data on violations. —] confirmed, then we, the CEC, the first will do everything possible that the guilty were punished, to bring before the courts until the abolition of elections in the city of Mytischi” she said (quoted by TASS).
For the verification of the election results in the CEC will appeal to the Prosecutor General, Ministry of internal Affairs and SKR. “We prepared an appeal. Today it will be forwarded over my signature to the law enforcement bodies — the Prosecutor General’s office, Ministry of internal Affairs, SKR, below parallel took up this issue and carried out an inspection” she said (quoted by “Interfax”).
She added that whatever the outcome of the audit does not undo the work that throughout the election campaign, the CEC held with the participation of observers. “Today I will give the order on formation of working group. I will invite the journalists of “Novaya Gazeta”, the applicants will draw for the first tests of the representative of law enforcement bodies,” — said Pamfilova.
On the eve of “Novaya Gazeta” published an article which reported about violations at the elections to the state Duma and Moscow region Duma in Mytishchi. The publication, the article says, able to analyze data for 84 of the 96 Wickam on 68 sites found discrepancies between what was recorded in the protocols with the data entered in gas “Vybory”.
