The foreign Ministry has threatened to limit travel of us diplomats in Russia

The official representative of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said that if the United States will agree to restrict the freedom of movement of Russian diplomats in the US, then Moscow will take similar measures against U.S. diplomats, reports “Interfax”.

“If the current US government want at the same time to limit the movement of their own representatives in Russia, they should bear in mind that in diplomacy everything is based on the principle of reciprocity,” — said Zakharov. “Simply put, is a similar attitude to American diplomats in Russia,” she added.

The official representative of foreign Ministry said that this measure is for the Russian authorities will be forced. In her words, Russia advocates cooperation and collaboration with the US, but are ready to take this step in response to the “unfriendly” attitude on the part of the United States.

The U.S. house of representatives on 30 November voted for a bill funding the U.S. intelligence services in 2017. The text of the bill there is provision for the imposition of restrictions on the movement working in the US diplomatic representatives of Russia.
