The head of the CEC denied the possibility of holding early presidential elections

The CEC head Ella Pamfilova said that the elections of the President of Russia will be held in March 2018, according to “RIA Novosti”.

She also stressed that she was “tired of refuting” messages about early elections, noting that “it is technically impossible”.

In November, the press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov said the agenda of the Kremlin there is no question of postponing the elections.

Previous presidential elections were held in Russia in 2012.
