Navalny called the main task of his election campaign

Opposition leader Alexei Navalny in an interview said that the main objective of his campaign now is to register as a candidate. “The goal of the campaign, which is now, is to register because it’s such a… It’s about the Russian elections. We’re not talking about who there going to win the election day. The goal is to be in the Bulletin”.

According to Navalny, to solve this problem will help 300 thousand supporters, “who pre-record their names in advance promise us that they will hand over the signatures in x hours”. About it Navalny said in his letter to supporters, published yesterday: “I am aware how difficult it will be to resist the current government, with its falsifications and propaganda machine. I understand very well that even to become a candidate it will be difficult”.

In addition, in an interview said he would do in the first place in case of a victory on elections. “First, we release all political prisoners. Second, we will introduce the law “On the fight against illicit enrichment”. Third, we are initiating the judicial reform,” — said Navalny. He also said that if elected will cancel “a whole list of laws”: the 282-th article of the criminal code (incitement of hatred or enmity, and humiliation of human dignity), the “law of Dima Yakovlev” (banning adoption by Americans of children from Russia), the law on gay propaganda.

On the question of how the Bulk in the case of his victory will decide the issue of recognition of the Crimea, the opposition leader said about the need for “a normal referendum, which they need to spend”. According to him, the main problem lies in the fact that the referendum is not recognized by the world community. “There was some kind of procedure that is called referendum. In no one believes her. It is an unrecognized territory. In order to begin to solve these problems, we need to have some point from which to start, and this point should be the clarification of the real will of the inhabitants of the Crimea on the fair and transparent referendum,” — said Navalny.
