The Kremlin called the Putin’s intervention in U.S. elections “ridiculous nonsense”

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov called “ridiculous nonsense” version of the personal involvement of Vladimir Putin in the “Russian secret campaign” to intervene in the U.S. presidential elections, reports “RIA Novosti”.

“Well, as ridiculous nonsense. Funny stuff may not have under itself no bases”, — said Peskov reporters.

Earlier, NBC News, citing a senior source in American intelligence reported that Putin could personally participate in a “secret campaign” of Russia, whose purpose was to influence elections in the United States. The two sides of the channel said that new intelligence reports indicate that the Russian leader had personally directed how the stolen data Democrats was leaked to the press and used for other purposes.
