Putin reported about the mass poisoning of “Hawthorn” in the Irkutsk region

The President of Russia Vladimir Putin reported about the mass poisoning of people alcohol-containing liquid “Hawthorn” in the Irkutsk region, which killed more than 30 people. The journalists said the press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov, reports “RIA Novosti”.

“Certainly, about this tragedy [were reported], this is a terrible tragedy, of course, that one layer of problems it is well known, and the President were reported,” — said Peskov.

However, he noted that the situation requires urgent attention and action.

Answering a question, whether Putin voiced any conclusion about what is associated with harmful alcohol-containing products, Peskov said: “No, I don’t know about any conclusions.”

As reported earlier, “RIA Novosti” in the regional Department of the Investigative Committee, the number of deaths from alcohol poisoning means “Hawthorn” has grown to 33 people.
