The adoption by Congress of a bill to impose new anti-Russian sanctions can damage not only the bilateral relations between the U.S. and Russia, but also damage the global economy and energy market. The journalists said the press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov, reports “Interfax”.
Peskov admitted that Russia in case of introduction of new sanctions of the USA “might be some negative consequences.”
However, the Russian energy sector, according to Peskov, will find ways to compensate for possible damage. “There is no doubt that the system, the sector will find the appropriate compensatory measures to minimize the potential damage from such actions, if it is implemented,” he said.
