Russia has allowed the Ukrainian inspectors to visit military formations and units of the Russian army in the Rostov region in the period from 16 to 19 January. This was announced by the head of the Russian national Centre for reducing nuclear danger Sergey Ryzhkov, Interfax reports.
District in the region, which will be held on, covers an area of about 16 thousand square meters, said Ryzhkov. The inspectors will receive briefings from the commanders of military formations and units located within this district.
The event, said Ryzhkov, will be held in the framework of the Vienna document 2011 on confidence-building measures and security. Such inspections are carried out to determine the extent of existing within a specified district and subject to prior notification of military activities or confirm that such a military operation is not carried out.
