The Russian government banned public procurement of goods from abroad for the needs of national defense and state security. The decree published on the official portal of legal information.
Restriction is put on goods which have analogues in Russia and produced in countries outside the Eurasian economic Union.
The prohibition does not apply to those categories of goods whose value does not exceed 50 thousand rubles per unit, depending on the type of goods.
In a number of products include helicopters, ropes, textiles, clothes, underwear, shoes, goods lifts, tower cranes, lathes, tools are needed in construction, and gravel, cement, tractors, bulldozers and other products.
The Ministry of industry is mandated to hold consultations with the authorities of the EEU to determine the mechanism of classification of goods to the categories produced in the territory of the Union and industrial products, the production of which on the territory of this Association is missing. The decree comes into force from the day of its publication.
