Every second American believed in “Russian interference” in the elections


More than 50% of Americans believe that the Russian government interfered in the US elections of 2016. These data were obtained during a new survey by the Wall Street Journal and NBC News.

About 51% of respondents said that they believed the Russians interfered in the elections by hacker attacks. However, only 26% of this number said that, in their opinion, hacker attacks have influenced the outcome of the election, while 63% of respondents said that doubt the influence of these attacks on the outcome of the elections.

Another 36% of respondents said that they do not believe that Russia interfered in the elections of the President of the United States.

A third who took the survey, Americans also believe that the elected President of the USA of Donald trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin linked too friendly relationship that is bad for the President of the United States. 24% of respondents said that relations between the two politicians is not particularly friendly. The majority of respondents failed to answer this question, notes the WSJ.
