Despite the renewal of the annual indexation on the level of real inflation, the size of pensions in Russia in the future, the three will still continue to decline. About this at the Congress of the party “United Russia”, said labor Minister Maxim Topilin, reports “Interfax”.
According to him, the growth of incomes of pensioners should develop a system of pensions in the country. Topilin noted that “the pension is the task not only of 2017 is a very long term”.
“It is necessary that we felt that this is a problematic issue from the point of view of the incomes of pensioners”, — said the Minister.
In a press-service of the Ministry of labour said that the decline is due to the fact that “pensions to working pensioners from 2016, not indexed”. The citizen receives a pension, taking into account all indexation only if the cessation of work.
Later, on the sidelines of the Congress of “United Russia”, answering a question about the rate of decline in real pensions, Topilin said that the actual pension will be reduced, perhaps by 0.5%
In 2016, the government has refused to index pensions to inflation of the previous year. In return in January 2017, all categories of pension recipients who permanently reside on the territory of Russia, including military retirees, will receive a one-time payment of five thousand rubles.
