WSJ revealed the name of one of the sources report the dirt on trump


Part unconfirmed facts about the relationship of US President Donald trump with Russia could proceed from the President of the Russian-American chamber of Commerce in United States Sergei Millian, reports the Wall Street Journal (WSJ), citing a source familiar with the situation.

According to the interlocutor of the edition, on information received from the Millian, founded about one third of the report, compiled by former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele. He added that among the unconfirmed statements by Millian — the presence of Russian special services compromising video with Donald trump, which he could blackmail, and collusion between staff of the trump and the Russian authorities for hacking into computers of the Democratic party.

According to the WSJ, the dossier Millian appears as “Source D and Source E” and is referred to as “openly telling the national” and “frankly telling a colleague”. The publication explains that the Millian might not know that transmits information to the former spy. The dossier noted that the application of the Millian confirmed by other sources author of the dossier.

According to the special adviser to trump, Michael Cohen, he was a little confused about the information that a Millian could be the source about going to trump in Moscow in 2013, as it had nothing to do with it. He added that the statements of the Millian cannot be “ounce of truth”, as he met trump only once.

Responding to a request by the WSJ, Millian called dossier “false news” and “an attempt to divert the future President from the real work. On the issue about whether he was the source of the author of the dossier, Millian did not answer.

BuzzFeed published a 35-page dossier on 11 January. It said that Russian special services have dirt on trump. In the document it is told that in one of his trips to Moscow billionaire lived in the hotel “Ritz-Carlton” and ordered prostitutes. In the room, according to the source, has installed hidden cameras and wiretapping. Later it became known that the author of the report was a former employee of British intelligence MI-6 Christopher Steele. Currently, he is co-founder of Orbis Business Intelligence, specializing in investigations and security.

On 23 January the chief editor of Buzzfeed in the column for the New York Times explained the reasons for the publication of this dossier. According to him, it has long been circulating in intelligence circles, officials and the media, and the only one who didn’t know about it, is the ordinary citizens of the USA.

Himself Donald trump called the report “false news”. Later, CNN reported that the FBI has not been able to confirm the “important parts” of this dossier.
