In early December sources “RIA Novosti”, “Interfax” reported that the Central office of “Mail of Russia” were searched. According to a source close to the leadership of the FSB, the security forces conducted a seizure of documents related to the remuneration Strashnov. However, in the “Mail of Russia” claimed that information about the searches is not true. “In the framework of a working relationship with the staff of “Mail of Russia” were handed over the documents to law enforcement agencies upon their request,” — said the Federal state unitary enterprise, stressing that the issued materials are not associated with in payments of salary and bonuses to the CEO.
In 2014 Strashnova were paid remuneration in the amount of 95,4 million rubles, but the Prosecutor’s office believes that the award was to be 3.2 million RUB an examination of the Supervisory authority, the company’s net profit in 2014 was formed through the allocation of 5.4 billion rubles from the Federal budget, which allowed to cover the losses of the enterprise in the amount of more than RUB 4 billion. Strashnov considers himself the payment of his bonus 95,4 mln RUB legal. “I think the situation is overheated. They are applicable not only to the “Mail of Russia”, but also to all state-owned companies. Then you need to change this system,” said Strashnov at the end of November 2016.
