As reported by Reuters, February 3 the White house intends to toughen sanctions against Iranian companies in response to the test of Tehran’s ballistic missiles. The Agency source asserts that the restrictions will be eight legal entities whose actions are deemed related to terrorism under the current laws of the United States. Another 17 will be subject to sanctions because of involvement in a rocket launch.
Reuters pointed out that sanctions against Iran do not contradict the nuclear deal with Tehran.
Earlier, former contender for the U.S. presidency from the Republican party, Marco Rubio has stated that the new restrictive measures will affect the IRGC, as well as airline Mahan Air. He said that “the time has come to launch an attack on the Iranian regime is supporting terrorists”.
President Donald trump after the launch of a ballistic missile called the nuclear deal with Iran “awful”. However, he did not rule out a military response to Tehran.
Sunday, January 29, Iran held the first missile test since the election of Donald trump for President of the United States. The white house condemned the actions of Tehran and declared “official warning” to the Iranian authorities. Advisor to the President for national security Michael Flynn said that Iran destabilizie the situation in the middle East.
