The investigators launched an investigation in connection with the admission coordinator, “Open Russia” Vladimir Karaz-Murza Jr., reported “Interfax” his lawyer Vadim Prokhorov. As recalled by Prokhorov, the complaint was filed when the coordinator of the “Open Russia” has returned after treatment from the first poisoning. The fact that Kara-Murza Jr. “again lies in the ICU with similar symptoms,” according to the lawyer, and “inspired the investigators to be puzzled by the events”.

Officially this information has not yet been confirmed.

On admission Kara-Murza Jr. with symptoms of poisoning for the second time in two years, it became known on February 2. In January last year Kara-Murza received the results of the examination, which was conducted by French experts. According to its results, the policy was significantly exceeded permissible for an individual concentration of four heavy metals: manganese — 59.5% (in hair samples were detected 33,9 nanograms per milligram), copper — by 1.8 times (112 nanograms per milligram) zinc — 2.25% (473 nanograms per milligram), mercury — in 1,2 times (2,01 nanograms per milligram). At the same time of iron in the body was discovered in 19 times less than minimum level (0,68 nanograms per milligram). The experts did not draw conclusions about what these results say.

Kara-Murza said that we are not talking about household poisoning: he claimed to have used “a complex substance”. “As a rule, access to such poisons have either a relevant special bodies, or the natives of these bodies,” — said the politician.
