A bill to toughen penalties for football hooligans, which the deputies will support the developed MVD. The Agency has amended late last year to the state Duma. The amendments increase the minimum fine for fans of brawlers with 20 to 40 thousand rubles, the maximum is from 25 to 50 thousand rubles.

Violation of the ban on visiting stadiums during the official sports competitions will be punished with arrest from 10 to 15 days. Under current law, the minimum period of detention of fans not installed because and may hold for 1-2 days.

More stringent penalties for foreign football hooligans. For them, repeated or gross violation of the rules of conduct in the competition will face a fine from 10 to 20 thousand rubles. with the possibility of administrative expulsion outside the country.

Toughening of responsibility for violation of the rules of conduct in the stadiums related to the upcoming world Cup, said the head of the all-Russia society of fans (VOB) Alexander Spragin.

“The tightening is bad, but it’s not the most serious tightening that you can imagine. Previously, the government was talking about criminal liability or penalties in the hundreds of thousand rubles, but so far these proposals have not considered”, — said the head of the VOB.
