United States of America, Japan and South Korea demanded to hold an emergency meeting of the UN security Council after the test of the DPRK ballistic missiles. This was announced by the U.S. representative to the UN, reports Reuters.
Washington expects the security Council meeting will be held on the afternoon of 13 February.
North Korea conducted another test of a ballistic missile on the morning of 12 February. The Japanese Agency Kyodo with reference to the press service of the government reported that the missile flew about 500 km and fell into the sea of Japan. Later, the DPRK authorities announced that the launch was successful. According to the Central Telegraph Agency of Korea, the missile launch was chaired by the head of state, Kim Jong-UN.
