National Iranian oil company (NIOC) announced that it has signed a contract with the Polish company Beloil Polska, which is a subsidiary of the state enterprise “Belorusneft”, for the supply of 600 thousand barrels of oil. This is stated in the press release, Iranian companies published on its website.
“This is the first purchase [Belarus] Iranian oil after removal from the Tehran international sanctions last year,” — said the press service of the NIOC.
It is expected that oil from Iran will be delivered to Odessa in Ukraine and Ventspils Latvia, where rail will go to Belarus. However, the logistics scheme is not yet agreed, the report said.
