The statements made by some Western politicians at the Munich security conference suggests that in their minds never ended the cold war. This statement was made by foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, speaking Saturday, February 18, at the Munich security conference.
“It is said that wars begin in the minds of people, there, they, logically, have to end. However, with the cold war this has not happened yet, to judge, in particular, on some of the speeches of politicians in Europe and in the United States, including, and the statements that were made yesterday and today at the beginning of our conference,” Lavrov said (quoted by “Interfax”).
Lavrov also said that NATO is “an Institute cold war”, the expansion of which has led to “unprecedented tensions in Europe over the last thirty years.”
The details will follow.
