The President of Russia Vladimir Putin by his decree released ten generals from their posts in the structures of the Ministry of internal Affairs, Investigative Committee (IC) and the Federal service of execution of punishments (FSIN). Document published on web-portal of legal information.
Among the dismissed were four Lieutenant-General (the chief of transport Management of the interior Ministry in the Volga Federal district Vladimir Berlizov, head of the Investigative Department for the Primorsky Krai Sergey Bobrowniki, head of internal Affairs of the Samara region Sergey Solodovnikov, the head of the municipal Department of internal Affairs across the Nizhniy Novgorod region Ivan Shaev) and six major-generals (the chief UFSIN across the Saratov region Alexander Gnezdilov, Deputy head of the Moscow University of Ministry of internal Affairs Sergey Jelakovic, head of educational, social and psychological work of the Federal penitentiary service Alexander Novikov, head of the Department of internal Affairs on the Vologda area Vitaly Fedotov, the chief of UFSIN of Mordovia Ramazan Agaev and the senior investigator for particularly important cases under the Chairman of the RF IC Alexander Filin).
Simultaneously, dismissed the first Deputy head of the Investigative Department of the TRANS-Baikal region Colonel of justice Rutile Rustling and prosecutors Chuvash Republic Sergey Legostaev and Jewish Autonomous region Lidia Diakonova.
By the same decree, Putin appointed Lieutenant-General Ramiz Almazov, head of the Federal penitentiary service in Samara region, Lieutenant-General Edward Kaburneeva – head of the Main Investigative Department, General major Anatoly Elizarov – Director of the Department of operational management of emergency situations, major-General Alexei Smirnov – head of Scientific-technical Directorate of the Ministry of emergency situations, and Andrei Vasilchenko – the Prosecutor of Ingushetia.
The reasons of personnel shifts in the decree are not specified.
